Patrick Ortlieb is currently a senior strategist for Blue Diesel, an interactive marketing agency with a primary focus on the healthcare industry. As senior strategist Patrick is primarily responsible for identifying, communicating and leveraging the key insights that lead to highly relevant, compelling, on-brand and effective digital user experiences for his clients. Patrick works collaboratively with all the various disciplines within the business (Creative, Technology and Client Service) to develop meaningful solutions and digital marketing plans that deliver on business objectives.
With 10 years of marketing and advertising experience, Patrick has spent the majority of his career focusing on understanding consumer behavior and needs and creating opportunities for clients to capitalize on these insights. Currently, he is working with Bayer Healthcare’s neurology and hematology portfolio and Ethicon’s Biosurgery Division. Prior to joining Blue Diesel, Patrick held positions in account management and market research with GSW Worldwide, where he contributed to marketing research, strategy and tactical management for such brands as GEMZAR, ALIMTA, STRATTERA, ALOXI, TOPAMAX, RAPTIVA and PREVACID. Before joining GSW, Patrick worked for RPA (now Fitch) a retail consulting firm.
